Frankie
How do you feel as an ex-Trashcan?
Feels kind of good, got some new stuff going on, and everything's going good.

How was the last gig in Oslo for you?
The last gig was really fun, the place was packed and the crowd was really good.

Have you realized that there will be no more Trashcan Darlings?
Yes. We almost didn't play together from May last year until the last show in December so the change wasn't that big since we decided to quit the band.

A classic one: You were on tour in Germany a couple of times. What is your best / worst tour memory?
The odd thing about touring is that the worst memories turn into good memories and good stories when you get back home. So the bad situations that has been with us, really sticks onto your mind, like sleeping straight on cold concrete floors 3 days in a row, with angry dogs barking and running around you all night, to play in a basement where it's impossible to stand upright. Don't get me wrong, there's also a lot good memories stuck in my mind, actually to many to mention.

What comes to your mind when you think of your time as a Darling?
Make up, hard work, always no from promoters and business people, a lot of fun, and a steady band with really good songs.

During your last shows you played some new songs which you have never played before and said you would put on the next album. What happens with a song like "Sick Of War" now?
Some of the new songs we made, may be gone in the coffin with the band, and some may be rised again in some new projects.

Are there any plans to release more Trashcan Darlings stuff in the future? For example material from the 10-Year anniversary gig, a live album or another DVD?
I really don't have a clue, but I think we released almost everything we have done. Did someone record the 10 years gig?

When you played in Oslo you often gave new bands like "Hell Dörmer" and "Hollywood Vampires" a chance to play in front of a bigger crowd. Did you select your own supportbands? Do you support new bands with other things?
Yes, we always decided who we wanted to do the support. We also gave some advises where to play, who to call, and who to beat up.

There's a lot of different bands and a many sided music scene in Oslo / Norway, but I don't know any other band that combines Punk with Glamrock like Trashcan Darlings does. When people start to call for a reunion in a few years, is there a chance that you will play together again?
I don't think so, but ask me again in 10 years.

What will you do in the future? Will you continue to make music and what kind of music?
I'm still doing music, and I'll keep on doing it as long as it's funny and exciting. Really don't care what kind of style it is as long as I can play guitar. It may bee harder or softer than the Darlings.
